Moss garden.

With the recent rain the patch of moss that grows next to the outside tap at the studio is looking particularly verdent. I though I would capture its soft plump mounds before the summer sun comes for good and dries it out.

Not so Foxy

Well the satin glaze is a bit thick and foggy. Muddies the detail. Its a hard one with satin glazes too thin and its dry, too thick and its cloudy- especially on fine detail.

FOXY!

Little coloured fox brooches and today in the studio more are due out of the kiln with a satin glaze. I wonder which ones will be the foxiest foxes!

Studio stuff.

I collect a lot of ceramic ornaments for my sculptural work. There is always more than I can use, but it makes for some cute collections for the studio shelves. This is part of my cat collection. Happy kitties.

Little bird.

Something new! A little bird. This one will hang. Wait to see it finished. What to do! What to do!

Cloud of the week.

I must say that Brisbane really does have beautiful clouds. These were taken from the top of my building early one Sunday afternoon.

Mould city!

With production stepping up and twenty-one moulds now. I am on mould rotation!
